⚠️ CRITICAL SAFETY ALERT: A “quick fix” on your air lines is an illegal shortcut. ⚠️Cutting a damaged rubber air brake hose and splicing it together with hardware store fittings or hose clamps violates federal law and risks catastrophic brake failure.

Air systems operate up to 120+ PSI. Hardware store fixes cannot handle this constant pressure fatigue. If the splice blows at highway speeds, your trailer brakes will instantly lock up, causing a violent jackknife or a multi-vehicle wreck.

Please follow proper DOT guidelines when making repairs to ensure the safety of those around you.
