We celebrated SSTAR’s annual staff cookout and the Research Team’s Fall event! 🍔🍂☀️

Good food, good people, lots of laughs, and a chance to connect with other SSTAR programs. 🤝✨

🧱💛 Building Connection & Belonging! 💛🧱

SSTAR Prevention was proud to partner with Balanced Learning Center, United Neighbors, and Camp Tansey this summer to bring Bricks & Belonging to local youth! 🌟

Through LEGO®-based social-emotional learning, campers had fun creating, collaborating, expressing themselves, and building connections with one another. 🤝✨

We’re so grateful to Balanced Learning Center for sharing their creativity and expertise, and to our community partners for helping make this experience possible! 💛

Together, we’re creating more opportunities for young people to connect, create, and belong. 🌈🧱

💜 SSTAR Prevention & the SATF at Fall River Overdose Awareness Day 💜

On Friday, August 28th, SSTAR Prevention and the Fall River Substance Addiction Task Force (SATF) had the honor of participating in Fall River’s Overdose Awareness Day. We came together with community members, local organizations, and partners to remember those we’ve lost, support those impacted by substance use, and raise awareness about prevention, recovery, and hope. 🕊️💜

We were grateful to connect with the community, share resources, and stand together in support of a healthier and more compassionate Fall River. 💜🤝

Together, we can reduce stigma, strengthen our community, and remind people that recovery and hope are always possible. 🌟

💜 SSTAR Prevention at Taunton Overdose Awareness Day 🫂

SSTAR Prevention was honored to attend Taunton Overdose Awareness Day and stand alongside friends, families, community partners, and those impacted by overdose. 🫶🏽💜

It was a meaningful evening filled with connection, community resources, recovery support, food, games, and opportunities to come together in remembrance and support. 🌟🤝

We were grateful to be part of this important event and to continue spreading messages of prevention, hope, recovery, and community connection. 💜✨

✨✂️ What an amazing day at Cuts for Kids: The Back-to-School Bash! 🎒📚

SSTAR Prevention and our amazing Peer Leaders had a GREAT time connecting with the community and celebrating the start of a new school year! 💙🙌

We loved seeing so many families come out to enjoy free haircuts, school supplies, face painting, fun activities, and more! 🎨✏️💇‍♀️

Our Peer Leaders also had the opportunity to spread the MeB4Use message — reminding youth to put themselves first and make choices that support their goals, health, and future. 💪✨

We’re grateful to be part of a community that continues to support, empower, and uplift our youth. 💙🌟

SSTAR Prevention had a blast at the Public Safety Palooza on August 11, 2026! 💙🙌 We loved being out in the community, connecting with families, sharing prevention resources, and promoting healthy, safe choices. 🤝🌟
