🚒 Help Us Tell the Story of the Fall Branch Volunteer Fire Department 🚒

In 2027, the Fall Branch Volunteer Fire Department will celebrate 75 years of service to our community.

For 75 years, our department has been made up of neighbors helping neighbors. Men and women who left their dinner tables, family gatherings, and warm beds in the middle of the night to answer the call. They didn't do it for recognition—they did it because they loved Fall Branch and the people who call it home.

Now, we have the opportunity to honor those who came before us, and we need your help.

We're looking for anything that helps tell the story of our department from 1952 through today, including:

📸 Old photographs
📰 Newspaper articles or clippings
🚒 Pictures of fire trucks, equipment, or the old station
👨‍🚒 Photos and stories of past and present firefighters
❤️ Memories of family members or loved ones who served, especially those who are no longer with us
📜 Old documents, patches, uniforms, helmets, or other memorabilia

If you have something tucked away in a photo album, scrapbook, attic, basement, or old cedar chest, we'd love the chance to see it. Even if you aren't sure it's important, it very well could be a piece of our history.

Our goal is to photograph and preserve these items and create a historical display—and hopefully a wall mural—inside our station so future generations can see the people and the stories that built this department.

Fall Branch has always been a special place. Many of us were raised here. Some of our parents and grandparents helped build this fire department. Today, their children and grandchildren are still answering the same calls. That's a legacy worth preserving.

Please help us make sure these memories aren't lost with time.

If you have photos, stories, or memorabilia to share, please send us a message on our page or contact any member of the Fall Branch Volunteer Fire Department. We'll gladly photograph your items and return them to you if you'd like to keep the originals.

Please share this post. We want to reach former firefighters, their families, longtime residents, and anyone who has ever been a part of the Fall Branch community.

Every picture has a story. Every story is part of our history. Help us preserve 75 years of neighbors serving neighbors. ❤️🚒
