While the big engines handle the hydrants and high-flow work… this one prefers the woods, the fields, and the places GPS sometimes gives up on.
Our brush truck may not be the biggest rig in the bay, but don’t let its size fool you. It’s built to go where the pavement ends — narrow trails, hunting leases, fence lines, and those “there’s no way a fire truck can get back there” calls.
Equipped with a skid unit, booster line, off-road capability, and plenty of water to knock down grass and woodland fires quickly, this truck is our first line of defense when flames start creeping through brush or threatening property.
It’s quick.
It’s agile.
And it doesn’t mind getting dirty.
In rural communities like ours, brush fires can move fast — especially on dry, windy days. That’s why this truck stays ready. Fueled. Pump tested. Tools checked. Every time.
You may never see it in action — and we’re okay with that. But if the woods light up or a field gets out of hand, this truck and your volunteer firefighters will be headed that way.
