Welcome Kourtney Millious to the Falkville Elementary family!

Kourtney joins us as our new Pre-K Auxiliary Teacher, bringing a big heart, endless patience, and lots of enthusiasm to our youngest learners. She is thrilled to team up with our Pre-K staff to create a safe, joyful, and engaging environment where our littlest Blue Devils can play, learn, and grow every day.

Candy Land + sight words + some very special friends = the sweetest morning! 🍭💗

Some of our 1st grade students had so much fun practicing their sight words with friends from the Senior Center today! There was plenty of reading, laughing, playing, and maybe just a little friendly competition. 😉🍬

We love getting to create opportunities like this where learning goes beyond the classroom. Watching different generations sit around a table, play a game, and enjoy each other’s company was pretty special. We are so thankful for the Morgan County Senior Centers for volunteering some of their time to pour in to our students!

Our Scholastic Book Fair is right around the corner from September 14–18! We’ll also be open during Grandparents Night on September 15 from 5:00–7:00 PM.

A big thank you to our FES PTO for celebrating our June, July, and August birthdays today! 💙💛
They put together a fun little hydration station for our birthday staff, and it was such a sweet surprise!
We are so thankful for our PTO and all they do to love on and appreciate our teachers and staff. We truly have the best! 🥰
