We will be under a Head Advisory Monday afternoon into the evening. We will then be under an Extreme Heat Watch from Tuesday afternoon through Friday evening.

A Heat Advisory has been issued for Monday and an Extreme Heat Watch for Tuesday through Friday. Daily heat indices will climb above 100 degrees. Those sensitive to the heat will need to take the proper precautions to stay safe this week. No rainfall is expected this week.

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for our area from 1-8 pm tomorrow with a heat index forecast for 109°. In addition, a possibility of strong to severe weather conditions for our area tomorrow night into Wednesday.

Rounds of thunderstorms Tuesday night and Wednesday may be strong to severe. Stay tuned for forecast updates.

Possibility of severe weather this evening. A heat warning is in effect until 8 pm tonight.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected across the area this afternoon and evening. Severe storms are expected to develop as early as 5 PM, lasting into the overnight. Damaging wind gusts will be the primary threat with these storms.

Take it careful the next few days. There is a heat advisory until Tuesday with temperatures up to 101.

A Heat Advisory has been issued for the entire area Saturday afternoon through Tuesday evening. High temperatures in the middle 90s to around 100 will result in heat index values around 100 to 110 degrees. Stay cool and hydrated!
