Shout out to for introducing the Fairview Library Book Club to Edgar Lee Masters' Spoon River Anthology! We enjoyed How to Read a Book as our January selection and that inspired us to add Spoon River Anthology as our September pick. Our online discussion is Thursday, Sept. 10th at 6pm and our in person discussion is Friday, Sept. 11th at 11am. Contact [email protected] for more information.

Our Afternoon Art Experience attendees had a great time learning about gradients and using a sfumato technique with oil pastels. It's wonderful to see the concentration and joy these kids bring!
