🌼 A simple act of kindness can brighten someone's day.

On June 1, Gilles-Sweet Elementary students visited O'Neill Healthcare in Fairview Park to deliver handmade flower bouquets, letters, and poems created by students throughout the school. Two students from each grade level were selected to represent Gilles-Sweet and personally share these gifts with residents. πŸ’Œ

The visit brought plenty of smiles and gave students an opportunity to connect with members of our community. Thank you to O'Neill Healthcare for welcoming our students and helping make this special experience possible. ❀️

πŸ‘ The Fairview Park Education Foundation continues to make a difference for students and staff across our district!

This spring, the Foundation awarded more than $8,000 in grants to support innovative learning opportunities in our schools. In addition to its Fall 2025 grants, the Foundation provided nearly $15,000 in funding during the 2025-2026 school year.

These grants help bring creative ideas to life, enhance classroom experiences, and provide additional opportunities for students from preschool through high school.

Thank you to the Fairview Park Education Foundation and its supporters for their continued investment in our schools and students. ❀️🩢

🌱 A classroom story is coming to life at the Parkview Early Education Center.

After reading the book "Pumpkin Jack" and learning about the life cycle of a pumpkin, students in Ms. Becky's Preschool class decided to put the story to the test. Instead of throwing away their classroom pumpkin, they saved it - and now it's sprouting! β˜€οΈ

The young learners will plant the sprouts in the Parkview EEC garden and watch the next chapter of the pumpkin's life cycle unfold. With a little sunshine, water, and patience, they hope to grow their own pumpkins by fall. πŸ‚πŸŽƒ
