Meet the artists who designed the artwork for Plant A Seed, Read!

John Jory & Pete Oswald:
Jory's work includes The Good Egg, The Sour Grape, The Big Cheese, and The Bad Seed, all illustrated by Pete Oswald.

Wendy Xu:
Wendy Xu is a bestselling, award-nominated Brooklyn-based illustrator and comics artist. She is the creator of INFINITY PARTICLE, TIDESONG, and co-creator of MOONCAKES.

Hatem Aly:
Hatem Aly is an Egyptian-born illustrator who has illustrated many books for young people, including The Proudest Blue, In My Mosque, the Newbery Honor winner The Inquisitor’s Tale, The Unicorn Rescue Society series, and Raj’s Rule (for the Bathroom at School)

Sarah Ferone:
Sarah Ferone is a freelance illustrator based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Specializing in food , nature, and editorial illustration, she adds a personal
touch to every project, blending analog, inky textures with digital drawing.
