It was my pleasure to present Bea Benedict a ceremonial proclamation declaring today Beatrice Benedict Day in the Village of Fairport, NY. Mrs. Benedict turns 100 years young today, and has shared her love and passion for music with numerous students, colleagues, congregants, and members of the public over her lifetime, especially when playing piano or organ. If you see Bea today, please wish her happy birthday!
