Our FRC team includes students in grades 9 - 12 and six FLL teams from elementary & middle schools. From our robot beginnings in 1997, we have grown into a full year team spreading our passion for STEM in our community and beyond.

That’s it. That’s all. It’s a wrap!

Our 2026 competition season has come to an end and we are so grateful for the cherished memories and incredible journey we experienced! Here are just a few highlights:

🤖 We learned so much from each other, our coaches, and our mentors. Thank you so much!
🏴‍☠️ Our 2026 robot, “The Boulder” and our little STEM-bot “Sparkie” continuously improved throughout the season.
🤖 578-ers persevered through all the tough times during our grueling season. Way to go!
🏴‍☠️ We networked, learned from other teams, made new friends, and grew as a team.
🤖 Our newest and fun program, Rai-ducks for Gracious Professionalism, was a huge hit! We loved to witness all the acts of GP during our tournaments. ❤️
🏴‍☠️ We are so grateful for our amazing community and sponsors for their unwavering support - Fairport Central School District, Microsoft, Bausch + Lomb, L3Harris Technologies, Fairport Merchants Association, Fairport Rotary Club, and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Practice day was awesome at the NY Tech Valley Regional tournament. We finished out the day by hanging out with our travel buddies from FRC 3181, the Pittsford Panthers. We went bowling, ate pizza, and had so much fun!

Tomorrow morning starts the qualification matches and we’re in Match 3 at around 9:08 am. Check back in the morning for our full schedule!
