Last week FHFD hosted a classroom training session taught by Chief Ungar from Willoughby FD. The topic of the class was the review of a large fire incident that they had in their city. This class not only reviewed strategic and tactical considerations but also outlined the importance of several departments working together through mutual aid to assist each other in times of large incidents or multiple simultaneous incidents. Members from FHFD, Painesville City FD, and Perry Joint Fire District attended the class.
