🌳💚 Last month, members of the Fairport Harbor Tree Commission, our Urban Forestry Consultant Alan Siewert, and Administrator Darling hosted a tent at the Fairport Harbor Civic Club's Community Day event.

Throughout the day, they enjoyed speaking with residents about the Village's urban forest, the many benefits that street trees provide, and the Tree Commission's Street Tree Planting Design Plan. The event was a great opportunity to share ideas, answer questions, and discuss how we can continue growing a healthier, greener Fairport Harbor.

And, of course, one very special guest stopped by... the Lorax! 🌳👨‍🦰 The Lorax helped spread the message about caring for our urban forest, bringing smiles to residents of all ages.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more about our community's trees and the important work of the Tree Commission!

Today, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday heroes who answered the call in our nation's time of need.

A Boil Water Advisory is currently in effect for customers in the 300 block of Vine Street.

Residents in the affected area should boil all water before using or use bottled water.

Fairport Harbor School is NOT impacted by this warning.

Water sample test results are expected to be received on Friday. We will provide updates as soon as additional information becomes available.

🚧 Planned Water Service Interruption Notice 🚧

The Village of Fairport Harbor Water Department will be performing planned system maintenance on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

💧 Water service will be temporarily shut off beginning at around 9:00 AM for customers in the 300 block of Vine Street.
