Fairmont Robotics Fairmont High School FIRST Robotics Team's events and activities We are a high school-level FRC robotics team. We are Team 2847 Megahertz.

We have competed since 2009 in competitions in Minneapolis, Duluth, and Grand Forks, ND.

Today’s Senior Spotlight is Katie Simpson! ❤️🤖

Katie has been part of Team 2847 Megahertz for the past 2 years and has played an important role in supporting the team both in and out of competition. As the team’s Safety Captain, she helped encourage safe practices throughout the season while also contributing to outreach and advocacy efforts as part of the Impact team.

Katie has also been a major part of the energy and excitement surrounding the team, helping lead the spirit section in the stands and bringing enthusiasm to competitions throughout the season.

This fall, Katie will attend St. Cloud State University to study Meteorology and Robotics. We’re excited to see what the future holds for her and appreciate everything she has brought to Team 2847!
