Tomorrow night we bid our final farewall to the East Fairmont Busy Bee Band & Honeybees Class of 2026!

In addition to participating at numerous football and basketball games, local parades and band spectaculars, the Class of 2026 enjoyed many travel and performance opportunities throughout their time with the group. Highlights include performances aboard Royal Caribbean’s “Independence of the Seas” and at Rawson Square in Nassau, Bahamas; a trip to New York City featuring a performance aboard the USS Intrepid; and a visit to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, where the group performed in the Main Street, U.S.A. Parade.

This group traveled to Pittsburgh for the Pittsburgh Columbus Day Parade, Mt. Lebanon Band Festival and North Hills Band Festival. Additional performances include the 2024 West Virginia Gubernatorial Parade in Charleston, the 2023 World Association of Marching Show Bands Opening Ceremony and Grand Feature Parade in Buckhannon, as well as appearances at the 2025 West Virginia Strawberry Festival and Clarksburg Italian Heritage Festival. The band most recently represented West Virginia at the Norfolk International NATO Festival, participating in the 73rd Annual NATO Parade.

Altogether, the Class of 2026 participated in over 120 performances with the Busy Bee Band & Honeybees. Thank You and Best Wishes to our Class of 2026!

Tonight, the Busy Bee Band & Honeybees hosted the East Fairmont Middle School 6th, 7th and 8th grade bands at the high school for the final concert of the year. We are excited to welcome the 8th grade students into the organization this summer and look forward to all that lies ahead for this talented group!
