🏠 BIG NEWS: We’re moving!

Tygart Valley United Way is beginning an exciting new chapter with a new home, a new community hub and a realignment that will create even more opportunities to serve our community.

But this is about much more than a new building.

Thanks to incredible partnerships with WesBanco, WVU Medicine, and Friendship Fairmont, this move will create new space for collaboration, strengthen the work of multiple organizations and ensure that community resources are working together to make the greatest possible impact.

It’s a big step forward for United Way and an even bigger investment in the future of our community. 💙

Together, we gathered to honor Overdose Awareness Day, remember those we’ve lost, support everyone affected, and promote overdose prevention. We want to remind anyone still struggling that they are not alone.

We’re especially grateful to our QRT peers for bringing everyone together with such compassion, dedication, and hope. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our community partners for their support and our local Subway for generously donating food.

In recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day, the Marion County Quick Response Team invites our community to come together for a special gathering dedicated to remembering the lives lost to overdose, supporting the families and loved ones who carry their memory, and standing beside those who are still struggling and those walking the path of recovery.

This is a space for remembrance, connection, hope, and community. Whether overdose has touched your life personally, through someone you love, or you simply want to stand in support of others—you are welcome. 💜

Together, we can honor those we’ve lost, support those who are still here, and remind our community that every life has value and every story matters.

Save a Life Day is about more than distributing free Narcan. It’s about making sure people in our community have the tools, resources, connections, and support they need—and reminding people that every life is worth saving.

We’re still looking for VOLUNTEERS to help. Whether you can give a little time or a lot, you can be part of an effort that truly makes a difference. (Volunteers will receive an out of this world shirt, swag, and lunch provided by Tygart Valley United Way)
