Fairmont Fire Department will be doing its annual pancake supper Sunday February 26 2023 starting at 5:00pm and going to 8:00pm come out and support your local Fire Department and chat with the Firefighters we are always looking for volunteers to join

September 17th Fairmont Fire responded as mutual aid along with Breckinridge fire, Billings fire, Covington fire, and Hunter fire department for a grass fire by Garber. Crews were able to take control and get the fire knocked down.

With 4th of July around the corner, we’d like to remind everyone to stay safe. Drink plenty of water and please keep fireworks away from fields as it is dry and easy for a fire to become out of control. Have a safe and fun 4th of July weekend

Fairmont fire was invited to perform a DUI wreck scenario at Pioneer High School. We along with several surrounding agencies demonstrated to the high school students what can happen when one chooses to drive drunk. We had a staged wreck with multiple patients and a fatality. As a team we extricated victims , performed patient care on scene and worked to “hot” load a patient on a medical helicopter. Our goal was not to scare the students, but to educate them, and to hopefully prevent an accident like this from happening. Thank you to all the agencies, staff, and students for allowing us to be apart of this.

Fairmont along with multiple other rural fire departments and the Oklahoma forestry service. Fought an approximate 600 acre wildfire Sunday the 12th. Fairmont was on scene for over 8 and half hours assisting.
