Labor Day represents everything that "Right to Work for less" attempts to strip away!! If you want to celebrate Labor Day then I suggest you thank a Union. Economic growth surges forward when Unions are strong. The working class of our country not only supplies the muscle and determination to build and maintain our country, but they also create jobs and fuel the economy by spending that hard earned money.

So when you are celebrating Labor Day remember that it exists on the backs of Union workers fighting for you!

November will be here before we know it, and there’s no better way to make an informed decision than to hear directly from the people asking for your vote.
Join us for a Candidate Forum featuring those running for:
• Fairmont City Council
• Marion County Magistrate
• Marion County Commission

From 5:00–6:30pm, you’ll have the opportunity to walk around, meet candidates one-on-one, ask questions, and have real conversations about the issues that matter to you.

Then, beginning at 6:30pm, candidates will take the opportunity to briefly address the crowd and share a few minutes about themselves, their priorities, and why they’re running for office.

Donald Trump says that “The only reason that communities throughout the U.S.A. should not want Data Centers is if they want to end up being backwards and poor.”

The MAGA and pro-data center wing of the Republican party is out of touch with working Americans. Instead of offering our land and resources up to outside interests that will line the pockets of folks that are already wealthy, how about we focus on affordability for everyday Americans instead?
