For nearly three decades, Chief Michael Mier has been a steady presence behind the scenes of countless moments that helped make Copley the community it is today.

While many residents may only see the uniform, the true impact of a police chief is measured in the trust built over time, the officers mentored, the difficult decisions made, and the commitment to serving a community day after day, year after year. Chief Mier's career reflects all of those things.

Chief Mier leaves behind a legacy of professionalism, integrity, and dedication to public service. His leadership helped shape not only a department, but also the culture of safety and community partnership that residents have come to value.

Retirement marks the end of a career, but not the end of an impact. The influence of a leader is carried forward by the people and organization he helped build.

Thank you, Chief Mier, for a lifetime of service, for leading with consistency and character, and for helping make Copley a better place to live, work, and raise a family.

Wishing you all the best as you begin this next chapter. Congratulations on a well-earned retirement. ๐Ÿš“
