Hereโ€™s this weekโ€™s Monday Minute with the Mayor!

1. City Council Meeting Tonight, September 14.
The work session begins at 4 p.m. in the Council Chambers.

2. Fairhope Farmers Market Thursday, September 17 ๐Ÿ‚ Join us from 2 to 6 p.m. behind the Fairhope Public Library and support our local farmers, makers, and small businesses! Weโ€™ll have free face painting for the kids and live music from 3 to 5 p.m. ๐ŸŽถ

3. Alabama Coastal Cleanup Saturday, September 19 ๐ŸŒŠ Help us โ€œGet the Trash Out of the Splash!โ€ ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ Didnโ€™t sign up ahead of time? No problem! Head to the Fairhope Municipal Pier at 8 a.m. Thereโ€™s still plenty to clean up, and every helping hand makes a difference!

A BIG shoutout to Fantasy Island Toys as they celebrate 50 years in business in downtown Fairhope, and to Tiny Town as they celebrate 20 years! ๐ŸŽ‰

๐Ÿ”‹ Skip the Bin this Saturday!

Baldwin County residents can safely dispose of household batteries for FREE during National Battery Take-Back Day on Saturday, September 12.

20609 Bishop Rd.

The Solid Waste Disposal Authority of Baldwin County, AL will waive its usual battery disposal fees at participating CHaRM locations for the day. Please remove batteries from devices before drop-off to avoid additional fees.

The fee waiver does not apply at SWDA landfills.

Help keep batteries out of household trash and recycling bins and give them a safe place to go!

City of Fairhope Administrative Offices and Operations will be closed Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.

๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ There will be no garbage, trash, or recycling pickup on Monday. Services will resume on your next regularly scheduled pickup day.
