In honor of the individuals who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and the Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice in the wars that followed. 🙏

Patriot Day

A national day of mourning for the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks on our country. Patriot Day was introduced in a bill in October of 2001 and proclaimed that the first anniversary would be observed as the first Patriot Day.

The Coast Guard was there on that fateful day, responding with every other agency that could, to help save lives.

In this photo, crews from Station Sandy Hook responded as fast as they could to help those in need.

The Guide emphasizes the shared uniform and grooming standards for active, reserve, and Auxiliary personnel. These standards are not merely regulations; they embody our core values of honor, respect, and devotion to duty. By maintaining these standards, we uphold the dignity and professionalism expected of us as members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Our commitment to these principles ensures that we remain ready and capable as sworn Team Coast Guard community members. The Interactive Uniform Guide is a testament to our dedication to these values, enhancing our readiness and unity. The Directorate encourages all personnel to utilize this guide to reinforce our commitment to excellence.

Save the date. On Friday, 23 August the Flotilla Staff will host a cookout for the members and their families. This event is FREE. Music will be provided and yes Todd will be manning the bar open. I've included more details in the attached flier. We hope to see you there.
