At Fairfield High Preparatory School, students aren't waiting until after graduation to discover their career paths. Through our Modern Manufacturing Program, scholars gain hands-on experience that prepares them for the high-demand industries driving Alabama's economy.
From learning industry safety standards and production systems to developing problem-solving and technical skills, students are gaining real-world knowledge that translates directly into workforce opportunities.
This year, our partnership with Honda took that learning to the next level. Students will spend the school year deconstructing and rebuilding a donated vehicle, applying engineering concepts and mechanical principles in a way that mirrors today's manufacturing environments.
And it's helping Fairfield students build the skills, confidence, and experience needed to succeed in tomorrow's workforce.

💎 What an incredible journey it was! Diamond Kutta™ STEM Kamp 2026 has officially come to a close, and we are grateful for two weeks filled with curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning. Watching our scholars collaborate, solve problems, and embrace new challenges reminded us that the future is bright and full of possibilities. Thank you to everyone who helped make this camp a success! We can't wait to see what these young innovators accomplish next. 🚀

Congratulations to Dr. Dashannikia Holston, Principal of Glen Oaks Intermediate School, as well as the students, faculty, staff, parents, and all stakeholders whose dedication and hard work contributed to this outstanding achievement. The school’s 3rd Grade class demonstrated exceptional growth, earning the distinction of achieving the largest gains of any district/school in the state on the ACAP Reading Supplemental Assessment. This remarkable accomplishment reflects a shared commitment to academic excellence and student success.
