Honk, climb, explore, and play at Touch A Truck!

Join us Friday, June 26 from 9 am to noon at Village Green Park for this free family favorite. Get up close to a variety of vehicles, meet the people who operate them, and enjoy a hands-on experience that's fun for kids of all ages.

Need a quieter experience? Sensory Hour will be held from 9–10 am, with no horns or sirens.

🦖 A new StoryWalk has stomped into Huffman Park!

From June 15 through August 31, enjoy "Look! There Are No Dinos Inside of This Book" along the paved StoryWalk trail at Huffman Park, 2100 John Gray Rd.

Meet Dangerous Dave, the world's most confident dino wrangler. He insists he's captured every dinosaur in the book... but young readers might notice a few sneaky dinos hiding in plain sight! Kids will love spotting the mischievous dinosaurs as they follow Dave's hilarious adventure.

StoryWalks combine the fun of reading with the benefits of getting outside, making them a perfect family activity all summer long.

Grab the kids, hit the trail, and see if you can spot all the dinos Dave missed!

Make plans to spend your Wednesday evening at the Fairfield Farmers Market!

Shop local vendors, discover unique handmade items, enjoy delicious food, and connect with your community in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Plus, while you're there, stop by our Composting Pop-Up from 4–6 p.m. to learn about Fairfield's new community composting program.

Sustainability Commission member and Composting Ambassador Dona Canaan will be on hand to answer questions, share composting tips, and distribute free at-home compost collection bins while supplies last. Learn what can and cannot be composted, how community composting works, and simple ways to reduce household waste.

Join us Wednesday from 4–7 pm in the Fairfield Community Arts Center parking lot, 411 Wessel Drive. We hope to see you there!
