Our center is conveniently located in the Fairfield Crossing Shopping Center in Fairfield, Ohio. Operating under the guidelines of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998, our center connects local businesses with community job seekers by offering a wide array of free services to both parties. We offer an expansive business service catalog, assisting employers with recruitment expertise, occupational
skills training, employee wage reimbursement through On-the-Job Training, layoff aversion and outplacement assistance services. OhioMeansJobs | Butler County also has many offerings available to assist job seekers with all aspects of their job search and training needs, as do the partnering organizations housed within our agency. Everyone is welcome, and all services offered through OhioMeansJobs | Butler County are provided at no cost. OhioMeansJobs | Butler County is part of the Workforce Investment Board | Butler • Clermont • Warren, a three-county regional organization made up of Butler, Clermont and Warren County leaders. These leaders are from business, education, labor and government, with the majority of board members representing the private business sector. The mission of the Workforce Investment Board is to set the vision, policy direction and performance expectations for the regional workforce development system. The mission of the Workforce Investment system is to provide an educated and qualified workforce that meets the current and future needs of employers.
