The Tekoa Pool has been contaminated with a biological agent!
(A baby puked in the pool)

Due to these unfortunate circumstances the Tekoa Swim Bus will be returning home early. ETA to Thiel Park is 4:15pm. Children will be instructed to stay at the park until they are picked up, or a parent gives them further instruction. Thank you.

With continued fire danger and poor air quality in the area, we didnโ€™t want to cancel our 2026 Summer Movie in the Park.

Instead, we moved the event indoors to the Community Center so everyone could still enjoy the movie safely. See you there!

The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 11 AM to 11 PM Saturday, August 1. A Particularly Dangerous Situation (PDS) Red Flag is in effect between 2 PM and 8 PM PDT Saturday.

* Winds: Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
* Relative Humidity: 15 to 20 percent.
* Impacts: Ongoing fires or new fire ignitions could lead to very rapid fire spread and extreme fire behavior, which would threaten life and property.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are expected. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior. PDS Red Flag conditions are extremely rare due to a combination of high winds and very dry fuels. New fires will grow rapidly and out of control. Residents should be prepared to evacuate immediately if a wildfire breaks out. Plan on having multiple ways to receive instructions.
