The Maple Run School Board will meet Wednesday, September 16th, at 6 p.m.

The meeting will be held at Fairfield Center School, 57 Park Street, Fairfield, with a remote option available through Zoom.

The agenda includes student data, Vermont education system reform, SATEC qualified bidders, policy work, VSBIT and VEHI annual meeting designations, the superintendent's report, and more.

The public is welcome to attend.

🇺🇸 Remembering 9/11 — 25 Years Later 🇺🇸

Today, Fairfield School was honored to participate in the 25th Anniversary 9/11 Remembrance Walk.

Our students were absolutely amazing — walking with respect, compassion, and pride. It was especially meaningful to have our local firefighters and first responders with us, giving our students the opportunity to recognize and thank those who serve our community. 🚒❤️

At Fairfield, we strive to teach our students that compassion, unity, and kindness matter — and today, they truly lived those values.

We remember. We honor. We stand together. 🇺🇸

You are invited to join the Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department and Fairfield Center School for their annual 9/11 Commemoration on Friday, September 11th, beginning at 8:40 a.m.

Community members are welcome to observe the annual remembrance walk, which symbolizes the climb to the top of the Twin Towers.

To help maintain the solemnity of the event, please remain quietly behind the flags along the route. We ask that you do not join the walk or distract students or first responders.

Following the walk, students will gather at the flagpole for closing remarks. Please remain in the parking lot or along the road and continue to observe quietly.

A few logistics:

The front of the school will be closed to traffic and parking.
The school building will be available only to the FVFD and regular FCS school community.
