* Flash Flood Warning for...

* Until 245 PM CDT Wednesday.

* At 843 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Until 845 AM CDT.

* At 806 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Lockridge to Birmingham to 6 miles south of Selma,
moving southeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* At 716 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Richmond to near Rubio to near Hedrick, moving
southeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. This line of storms has a
history of producing winds up to 70 mph.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to

Storms are intensifying near the Missouri-Iowa border as they enter a very favorable environment. The tornado potential is increasing along the Mississippi River in southeast Iowa, northeast Missouri, and west-central Illinois. Have multiple ways to receive warnings and know where you are going to shelter!

[6/11/26 2PM] A Tornado Watch has been issued for much of northeastern Missouri, southeastern Iowa, northern and central Illinois, and far southern Wisconsin through 9PM tonight. Besides tornadoes, damaging winds and hail are also possible with these storms. Have multiple ways to receive warnings through the evening!

Heads up for an active afternoon of weather! Numerous severe storms are expected, with swaths of damaging winds probable and also potential tornadoes. Some of this severe weather could be significant, especially along and east of the Mississippi River. Be sure to stay tuned to the forecast for updates!
