These sweet pups have been claimed and are back home ! Thank you to everyone that shared or helped put the word out

🐾 Found Pups! 🐾

Officer Martin was dispatched to the area of Morrow and Cory for reports of two dogs running loose. Thankfully, he was able to safely secure both pups and bring them back to the Ross Township Police Department.

One of the dogs is wearing a collar, while the other does not have one.

We will be caring for them at the Police Department until approximately 3:00 a.m. If these dogs belong to you, or if you know who their owners may be, please contact the station at 513-863-2337.

If they are not reunited with their family by 3:00 a.m., Officer Martin will transport them to Animal Friends Humane Society.

Please help us spread the word so these sweet pups can find their way back home! 🐶🏠❤️

Officer Lemmer and Officer Hamblin had a rather colorful call this morning in the 2000 block of Smith Road! 🦚

When officers arrived, they found a very large and very beautiful peacock perched on top of a resident’s home, apparently serving as Ross Township’s newest neighborhood watch volunteer.

We are hoping someone recognizes this handsome guy or gal and can help us find their owner. Until then, they are living their best life, enjoying the view, and keeping a close eye on the residents of Ross!

We will also have a booth set up with burgers and hot dogs if you want to grab a quick bite while you’re there. And lucky for us, Flub’s is right next door for dessert! 🍦

Fish with a Cop 2026 was an absolute success! 🎣💙

The weather was perfect, the food was great, and the crowd was an absolute blast! We want to give a huge thank you to Nieman’s Farm for allowing us to use the lake every year, AK Butler for our bathroom needs, and Wholesale Bait and Tackle for all the creepy crawlers that went on our hooks to reel in those fish! 🐛🐟

We also received a generous donation in remembrance of Hershel Asher, which helped make this event happen.

A special thank you to McCleese Farm for allowing us to use their side-by-side to help deliver water, bait, and anything else our fishers needed throughout the event.

We also had a special visit from the Ross Fire Department, who fished alongside us and got to enjoy the beautiful weather and good times too! 🚒🎣

Thank you to everyone who came out, helped, and enjoyed the day with us. A special thank you to Ray for helping set up fishing poles and Alex, our grill master, for keeping everyone fed!

We look forward to this event every year! 🎣👮‍♂️✨

More photos to come!
