📍Big changes could be coming to Annandale. On June 4, the Fairfax County Planning Commission voted to recommend adding a proposed multifamily housing project near the Willow Run neighborhood to the Comprehensive Plan Work Program.

The project, which calls for a five-story apartment building with 186 units at 6675 Little River Turnpike, has sparked strong opposition from nearby residents who say it’s too dense for an area surrounded by single-family homes and narrow roads. 🏘️🚧

The final decision now heads to the Board of Supervisors, who are set to vote on the work program June 10. Stay tuned.

The Planning Commission recommended that a nomination for a multifamily housing project in Annandale be added to the Comprehensive Plan Work Program.
