Daniels Run is so grateful for our crossing guards!

Another school year is underway, and we’re excited to welcome back all five of our amazing crossing guards!

Rain or shine, early mornings or busy afternoons, they’re out there helping our students, families, and neighbors get where they need to go safely. Their dedication and commitment to our community make a difference every single day.

Please join us in giving a big THANK YOU to our crossing guards for keeping an extra set of eyes on our roads and an extra layer of safety around our school crossings.

Fairfax High School Leadership students are bringing their creativity to Daniels Run! Students in grades 1–3 are invited to join the free Paws & Claws Craft Club, an after-school program led by FHS students. The club will meet Thursdays from 3:45–4:45 p.m. on Sept. 17 and 24 and Oct. 1, 8, 15 and 22. Snacks and all craft supplies are included. Due to the threat of storms and an already wet playground, our playdate this afternoon is canceled. We look forward to meeting our newest dragons at our Open House on Thursday, August 20th from 11:30am-12:30pm. :)

Tonight at 7pm: A recently promoted Daniels Run 6th grader & rising Katherine Johnson Middle school student will sing the National Anthem at tonight’s FCPS School Board meeting. Happy first day of summer, Dragons! Join us for a fun, free event where Daniels Run families can come together to take what they need - our second annual No Sale Yard Sale! This event features items that teachers have donated from their classrooms. Everything is up for grabs and free to take.
