Congratulations to Maaya for earning top honors in the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) Americanism Elementary School Poster Contest! 🇺🇸🎉

After winning at the local chapter level, Maaya went on to receive recognition at the state level for her outstanding poster celebrating the American Revolution. We are incredibly proud of her creativity, artistic talent, and hard work!

We also want to congratulate all of our students who participated in the contest and thank our amazing 4th grade teachers for providing this meaningful opportunity for students to connect history, art, and creative expression.

Earlier this year, Team Navy wrote a grant with the goal of bringing a STEAM Lab to Navy Elementary. We are thrilled and incredibly grateful to have been selected as one of this year’s grant recipients and awarded $50,000! 🎉

Each student researched a changemaker of their choice and will soon partner up to compare points of view and decide which person they believe had the greatest impact on the world. Students will also create presentations and dress up as their changemaker to bring their learning to life!

Happy School Communicator Day to the people who help keep our school community connected! 📸📰💙

Today, we recognize Mrs. McLaughlin, our School Based Technology Specialist, for the many ways she supports communication at Navy Elementary. From managing social media and helping create our community newsletters alongside Mr. Pannutti, to updating the Navy website and sharing school announcements with Mrs. Benavides and the 6th grade WNES crew, communication plays a vital role in keeping families informed and connected to our Navy Dolphin community each day.
