After a sentencing hearing in which SA Gibson argued for extended term sentencing on all counts, the Defendant was sentenced to 9 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on two counts of Indecent Solicitation of a Child and 5 years on one count of Grooming. All counts will run concurrently.

The CHAOS Task Force is proud to announce that we have been in operation for two years and, in that time, have been responsible for 112 felony arrests across multiple jurisdictions.

We want to sincerely thank the public for the valuable tips and information you’ve provided to our officers. Your support plays a crucial role in helping us keep our communities safe.

We also extend our gratitude to the State’s Attorneys’ Offices in each jurisdiction for their continued partnership and assistance in handling these cases.

Finally, I want to recognize the officers within the CHAOS Task Force for their tireless dedication. These cases are often time-consuming and mentally challenging, yet these officers continue to work diligently day in and day out to achieve justice and protect our communities.
