Yesterday, Sgt. Terrance Carter and the Eng 21 crew participated in the finale of an amazing 7-week fire safety program with Campbell Elementary's kindergarten classes. A huge shoutout to Capt. Pope, who dedicated the last seven weeks to teaching these vital classes and preparing our youngest citizens! Our future firefighters put their knowledge to the test during today's interactive Safety Fair. We are so proud of these smart kindergartners for learning how to keep themselves and their families safe. Thank you to Capt. Pope, Sgt. Carter, the Eng 21 crew, and the staff at Campbell Elementary for partnering to build a safer community!

Our very own Fire Marshal, Chris Campbell, is currently representing our city in snowy Denver for the NFPA's International Fire Marshal's Association (IFMA) code development committee meetings. Division Chief Campbell is working alongside experts from across the country to shape the future of fire safety codes that protect our community and others nationwide. We’re proud to have Fairburn’s voice at the table for these critical NFPA Standards Development discussions. Stay warm, Chief! ❄️🔥🚒

Our firefighters take pride in the small details — checking, flowing, and making sure our hydrants are ready when they’re needed most.
Even the cosmetic touches matter. A clean, well-maintained hydrant shows pride, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Wildfires currently impacting South Georgia and North Florida are a strong reminder that fire risk is not limited to traditionally “high-risk” regions.
