It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Brother Roy Colbrunn, a cherished member of IAFF Local F-88 at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio. Brother Colbrunn succumbed today after a cardiac incident on December 28th.

Brother Colbrunn dedicated over 21 years to our union, serving as both a Service Representative and a District Field Service Representative in the 16th District. He was not only a trusted colleague but also a great friend. His unwavering commitment to the International Association of Fire Fighters and its members across the country is something we could all learn from. He was an extraordinary individual who made a significant impact on the lives of many. His knowledge, dedication, and camaraderie will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Please join me in keeping his wife, LuAnn, daughter Kaleena, and their entire family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

We will post more information as it becomes available. In the mean time feel free to share some of your Tank stories. I am sure LuAnn and family would love to experience your memories, even though I am sure Tank has told some of them many of times.

A successful picnic again this year with a great turnout! We had a good mix of on-duty personnel, off-duty personnel, and their families, including the little ones. It was also great to see our retirees in attendance, whom we appreciate for taking the time to join us even when they may not know many of the newer members. A big thank you to the spouses who made it happen: Carly Ross Trost, Emily Morgan, Jessica Seiter Williams, and anyone else who contributed. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and make my job easy. Thank you to the members of this great Local for allowing this annual event to happen!

Always here to lend a helping hand to our Brothers and Sisters in the surrounding communities.

BREAKING OVERNIGHT - 0115hrs crews responded to the Preserve at Beavercreek, a memory care living factory on Hibiscus Way for a reported fire in the kitchen.

Crews found a small fire in the kitchen that was quickly extinguished and all residents are safe and back in their rooms.

Thanks to Beavercreek FOP Lodge #160 , Fairborn Professional Firefighters Local 1235 and IAFF Local F88-Public Wright Patterson for the assistance this morning
