Design Alaska recently kicked off their United Way workplace campaign with a special visit from Fairbanks Youth Advocates (The Door), an organization they've helped bring to life more than a decade ago.
Thirteen years ago, Design Alaska helped bring the vision for The Door's youth shelter to life, creating the original blueprints that helped turn an idea into a brick-and-mortar reality.
During the kickoff, The Door's Executive Director Krystel Marino and Deputy Director Alaya Webb shared the organization's history, achievements, and plans for the future. It was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on how far The Door has come since those early plans were drawn.
Thank you, Design Alaska, Inc. , for your continued commitment to our community and for helping make a lasting difference in the lives of young people throughout Interior Alaska!
