The last day for Twice-a-week TRASH PICK-UP is Friday, September 11th.  Trash will then be picked up in All Zones on Tuesdays. Please make sure your Trash cans are placed at your curbside on Monday evening. Thank you!

DON’T FORGET BULK PICK-UP MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH
Please make sure your bulk items are at your curbside no later than Sunday, September 13th

If you are placing an appliance out for pick-up, you will need to come to the Borough office, at 748 River Road, to obtain an appliance sticker.
The cost is $25.00 per appliance. (cash or check)

The Fair Haven Police Department is hosting a Bike Safety Rodeo
Sunday, October 4th
from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
in the Knollwood main parking lot.

This Bike Rodeo is geared towards new and novice bike riders to go over bicycle safety, equipment checks for the bikes, and bike control while making turns.

No registration for the event is necessary, you may simply come to the Knollwood parking lot this Saturday morning to participate.

E-Bike Safety included. We hope to see you there!

Following up on the smoke seen coming from a manhole on Navesink Avenue this afternoon — we know it looked alarming, and we appreciate everyone who called it in.

The smoke was a result of Two Rivers Water Reclamation Authority sanitary sewer cleaning operations. Smoke came up through manhole covers for a brief period.

The Borough’s Fire Department responded as a precaution. The Fire Department and Authority confirmed everything was safe. Cleaning is this area is now complete.
