Good evening Fair Haven families,
First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for placing your trust in me. I am truly honored to stand here today as a member-elect of the Fair Haven Board of Education.
I am deeply thankful to my family, friends, and all of our supporters. Your unwavering belief in our vision has been a source of strength throughout this campaign. From long days to difficult moments, your encouragement kept us moving forward.
I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to my fellow candidates, Michelle Buckley and Lindsay Bruno. Running for office takes great dedication and courage, and I respect the hard work each of you has put into this campaign. Your commitment to our schools and our community is invaluable, and I look forward to working together to achieve our shared goals.
I want to take a very special moment to recognize my running mate, Frances Leone. Frances, it has been a true privilege to campaign alongside you. While we did not receive the outcome we had both hoped for in this election, your dedication to our students and our community is undeniable and inspiring. I’ve watched you work tirelessly to make a difference, and I know that your passion and commitment will continue to be a guiding light for the future of our schools. Thank you for your partnership, your hard work, and your friendship.
As I take on this role, I know the responsibility it carries. The decisions that are made will impact our entire community. In knowing that, we must always remember that progress happens when we work together. I’m excited to collaborate with fellow board members, teachers, parents, and the entire community to build an even stronger school system that meets the needs of all our students.
To every parent, teacher, student, and community member who has supported me—thank you. Thank you for your trust, your support, and your commitment to education. I am extremely excited for the work ahead and I am deeply honored and look forward to serving on the Fair Haven Board of Education.
Thank you,
Victoria Forte
