A presentation on the feasibility of expanding the softball and baseball programs at the high school will take place during tonight's work session.

With participation booming due to local youth programs' success, the District has been asked to consider adding an extra team.

There will be two presentation at the start of the meeting:
- Solar Presentation by Doug Neidich, GreenWorks Development for a potential solar project at Trail
- Discussion of Policy 246 - School Wellness, Matthew Rakauskas

- Approval of the 2024-2025 Budget and Tax Rates
- Purchase of a generator system for the LTEC Cafeteria ($166,720)
- Purchase of new swing set (total cost was already approved - reworded to show funding change)

At Monday’s Board Meeting, Mrs. Kuchak shared how valuable these surveys are to evaluating the effectiveness of the Title I program at LTEC. Parents an integral part of the team so we appreciate your feedback!

The Lackawanna Trail Elementary Center conducts an annual survey to assist in the ongoing development and improvement of our Title 1 Program. The information gathered will inform future decisions and enhance the delivery of services to our students.

COMMITTEE MEETINGS | SPECIAL BOARD MEETING

Monday and Tuesday this week have a full schedule of public committee meetings and a special board meeting to vote on time-sensitive motions prior to the April meeting. Attending these meetings is an excellent way to learn more about the specific details of the buildings and grounds projects, curriculum, budget and school wellness. The Curriculum Committee meeting and Special Board meeting will have virtual attendance opportunities, however, the other meetings are in person only.
