⚾ Opening Day at the ballpark with Achievement House!

Our families and staff had an incredible time during the Reading Phillies Opening Day at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Families and staff enjoyed the game while connecting with the community at our AHCCS table in the stadium plaza. 🎉

Lakota Keeler, a 10th-grader at Achievement House, threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the game and was accompanied by Principal Angela Alderfer.

It was a day full of school spirit, community pride, and unforgettable memories! 💙

Achievement House students spent the day exploring the arts at Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia.

Students toured the galleries, visited the historic Sanctuary, and explored specialized art studios before getting hands-on in a clay workshop, creating their own unique pieces to take home. It was a day filled with creative inspiration.

Achievement House students went behind the scenes at WHYY in Philadelphia, getting an inside look at how TV and radio come to life.

During the studio tour, students explored careers in broadcasting, learned how to operate video and audio equipment, and even practiced conducting their own interviews. 🎙️

From meeting industry professionals to gaining hands-on experience, it was an inspiring day of learning and career exploration. 💙
