Society of St Vincent de Paul Exeter NH Motto: We Help People. We seek to assist anyone in pursuit of a better life.

We work daily with our Local Community in the NH towns of Brentwood, Exeter, East Kingston, Kensington, Newfields and Stratham to better the lives of the poor. The hallmark program of the CAC is our daily food pantry session which offers
free food and provisions to the area's poor in the towns of Brentwood, Exeter,
East Kingston, Kensington, Newfields and Stratham NH. Plus, the CAC offers us
the

opportunity to host other agency offices onsite, provide training and education
for all sorts of life skills, job coaching, budget counseling and so forth.

We all learned a lesson from the children in our town. Quinn, Norah and Gigi decided they had an idea for a fundraiser in their school store. They planned fidgets and toys to sell and generously decided the money they earned they would bring to the food pantry at our center. They raised $75.00!! and proudly presented it to John Knorr the director this week. Got some great photos, but until some technical bugs get worked out we'll have to wait to see their smiling faces till next week. Our future is in good hands with the kindness of these girls.....many, many thanks!!

Just when we hear news of drought again, along comes that wonderful rain last night! It's like that here at the center. When fear of not being able to feed the needs of our neighbors, and then in the doors come generous donors, food and encouragement. Wonderful support keeps us going and growing! Thanks to all!

When community members got together yesterday to share how they could support us and one another, the one burning need that came up was housing. We can help feed, care for medical and financial needs, support families in the summer, but housing that hardworking people of all ages in town is getting harder and harder. It is an issue we will continue to work on and pray that solutions become a priority! Thanks to all who shared their ideas yesterday, we will work as a team!

Hard to believe that it has now been just over a year of such a wonderful team of doctors and nurses here every Fri. from 9-12.
Sometimes folks just stop in to see what it's like, not sure to trust as is common. It has been a godsend for many and the wonderful faces who greet any who need health care. We are beyond blessed to have each other to help!

There are lots of motivators when it comes to helping us here to keep families well fed and cared for. Owens Corning had a competition and their Maintenance Dept. were winners. The community at Sterling Hill just filled tables and shelves, wow!! I'd say we are all winners. Thanks to everyone!!

Last Saturday looked like it might be OK, then the rains came down! That doesn't stop our postal carriers from getting the job done. Even in the rain the bags collected for Stamp Out Hunger provided 1,000lbs. of food. Huge thanks to all who left food for us and the carriers who added that to a day's work!
