September looks a little different depending on who you ask.

For Jen, it’s a reset at home and at the Chamber, with new routines, new board members, and Back to Local underway.

For Samantha, it’s a reminder not to overcomplicate things. Set boundaries, protect your peace, keep going, and maybe take a little advice from the farm animals.

For Renee, September means getting outside, enjoying New Hampshire, and looking ahead to a full season of Chamber events, including Powderkeg.

The Exeter Area Chamber office is closed today, Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. We’ll reopen Tuesday, September 8.
One of the most useful things about Chamber membership is having more than one way to stay connected.
You might come to Chamber Essentials to make sure you’re using your benefits. You might meet someone new at Business After Hours, learn from a Member Expert Series, or choose the opportunities that best fit your goals.
And throughout September, Back to Local gives all of us another reason to support businesses across our Chamber community.
This week, Chamber Essentials is happening Wednesday, September 9 at 8:00 AM at the Chamber office. If you’ve been meaning to take a closer look at your membership benefits, this is a good place to start.
You don’t have to attend everything to get value from the Chamber. Be intentional about the opportunities that make sense for you, your team, and your business.

Less than one month to Powderkeg!
On October 3, Swasey Parkway will be filled with beer and chili samples, live music from Matty & The Penders, food trucks, and plenty of people ready to spend a Saturday afternoon in downtown Exeter.
VIP admission runs from 12:00–4:00 PM, with General Admission from 1:00–4:00 PM. Designated Driver and under-21 tickets are also available, and kids 5 and under are free.
If Powderkeg is on your fall calendar, now is a good time to get your tickets.

Back-to-school season has a way of resetting routines.
Calendars fill up again. Schedules get more structured. And sometimes that shift is exactly what it takes to make room for something new.
If getting more involved with the Chamber has been sitting somewhere on your list, this is a good time to move it up.
Register for an event. Show up to a Morning Mixer. Volunteer. Attend a ribbon cutting. Try a program you haven’t been to before.
You don’t need to do everything. Start with one thing that fits your schedule and your goals.
A new routine can lead to a new connection, a useful conversation, or a better understanding of what’s happening across our Exeter area business community.
