July is right around the corner, which means Parks and Recreation Month is almost here! It's a time to celebrate the parks, programs, facilities, and dedicated people who help bring our community together and make Excelsior Springs a great place to live, play, and connect.

We’re keeping the creativity flowing this summer! Join us every Wednesday in June & July at 10:30 AM for Art in the Park. These fun, free sessions are filled with hands-on art activities perfect for little artists. Come enjoy a relaxed morning of sunshine, imagination, and community!

Join us as we celebrate the official ribbon cutting of Excelsior Singletrack! 🌲🚵

This exciting project marks the beginning of an eventual 5-mile hand-built trail system created by volunteers for non-motorized mountain biking and hiking. Come help us celebrate the hard work, vision, and community effort behind this new outdoor adventure space!

There’s still time to register your kiddo for this fun 5-day tennis camp! Registration closes on June 7th. Don’t miss the chance to build skills, make friends, and have a blast on the court. 🎾

Get ready to serve up some fun this June with Coach Marsh! 🎾

Are you looking for a sport your kid can grow with? Youth Tennis Camp is the perfect way for kids ages 5-14 to learn skills and build confidence. Whether they are new to tennis or returning, we know they will have a blast on the court! All you'll need to bring is a water bottle and a racquet if you have one. We'll handle everything else, and as a bonus, kiddos will get a t-shirt with registration!

Beginners (ages 5-9): 3:30-4:00 PM
Advanced (10-14): 4:00-4:50 PM

Join Coach Lexy at the Excelsior Springs Community Center for an exciting introduction to futsal! Coach Lexy is thrilled to bring this fast-paced version of soccer to the community — a game designed to develop creativity, quick decision-making, and strong technical skills in a fun and energetic environment.

Players should wear tennis shoes and comfortable athletic clothing. Shin guards are recommended but not required. Please note: cleats are not allowed, as all sessions will take place indoors.

Join FEAT Performance every Wednesday in June for a high-energy Swim & Dryland Training program designed to help young athletes get stronger, faster, and more confident in and out of the pool.

🗓 Wednesdays in June
⏰ 4:30–5:15 PM — Strength Training
🏊 5:30–6:15 PM — Swim Training

This breaks down to $50 per session:
-45 minutes of strength training
-45 minutes of swim training
