Fair days are here!
The Evergreen State Fairgrounds hosts the annual Evergreen State Fair every August ending on Labor Day, and it's the largest county fair in the Pacific Northwest and the largest single attraction held annually in Snohomish County!

This year's fair theme “Barn in the USA! Celebrating America’s 250” invites us to reflect on our nation’s past, recognize those who helped build it, and honor the traditions that continue to shape our community today.

Next week, on August 31st, we will recognize Overdose Awareness Day here in Snohomish County.

Substance use disorder, particularly opioid use disorder, continues to affect the health and well-being of people in Snohomish County. We recognize the severity of this crisis and remain committed to
supporting prevention, treatment, and recovery services, while also creating opportunities for dialogue in our community, reducing stigma, and educating community members about substance use disorder, overdose prevention and the resources available to those affected.

All residents and visitors are invited to join the Snohomish County government, Hope Soldiers, Lindsey Arrington, and many other community partners in participating in our Annual Overdose Awareness Day Vigil and Resource Fair on Thursday, August 27, on the County Campus in Everett at 5:00 p.m.

It's Speed Week in Snohomish County!

Snohomish County’s Evergreen Speedway has been woven into the fabric of our community, providing a facility for drivers and enthusiasts to experience motorsport events and auto racing since 1954.

NASCAR’s premiere short track event on the West Coast is the Summer Showdown, held at Evergreen Speedway on Friday, August 14th, and Saturday, August 15th, and attracts the biggest names in circle track racing.

We value the Evergreen Speedway, a unique Snohomish County
facility providing racing opportunities and entertainment for people of all ages and providing opportunities in the lodging, tourism, recreation, and automotive industries!
