Davis (FFG 60) is an Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate of the United States Navy. Davis is currently scheduled to decommission in March of 2015 and held her decommissioning ceremony January 23, 2015. Davis is named for Marine Sergeant Rodney Maxwell Davis (1942–1967), who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroism in the Vietnam War.

Commander William S. Snyder assumes responsibilities as USS Rodney M. Davis' (FFG 60) Commanding Officer from Commander Todd E. Whalen, her former Commanding Officer, in a change of command ceremony on the ship's flight deck. Following the ceremony, the Bold Runners bade farewell to their former Captain.

What a wonderful day for a ship homecoming! Today, Naval Station Everett welcomed home the USS Rodney M Davis (FFR 60) with clear skies and loved ones, just in time for the holidays! Fleet and Family Readiness enjoyed being apart of this heartwarming time.
