Knowing the warning signs of a stroke can mean the difference between life and death for not only you, but for those around you. It’s important to act quickly when you think that you or someone else may be experiencing a stroke. The sooner treatment begins, the better the chances of survival are.
A great way to remember and recognize the signs of a stroke is with B. E. F. A. S. T.

Other stroke symptoms include sudden:
Numbness/weakness of the face, arm, or leg, especially on one side of the body
Nausea or vomiting
Confusion, disorientation, or memory problems
Severe headache
If you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms of a stroke, call 911 immediately.
Fun fact: Nearly 2 million brain cells are lost every minute during a stroke- so the faster you respond, the more brain function you can help save!!

Speed might feel exciting, but it can quickly turn dangerous and lead to serious injuries. Slow down, stay alert, and ride responsibly so you can make it home safe every time.
