We are proud to see the Indiana Energy Saver Program delivering real savings for Hoosiers! These energy-saving upgrades will help improve efficiency, lower utility bills, and make homes more comfortable for residents.

It was an honor to attend and speak at this event today. Marion Housing Authority received a record investment of $2.4M dollars to put in new HVAC in both Normal Manor and Hilltop Tower. This investment results in a 33% reduction in utility costs that will directly impact their residents. Thank you to The State of Indiana, Gov Braun, Secretary Jaworoski, Google, Egis, IESP and IOED. This makes our affordable housing more affordable.

Last week at the Indiana Ag Summit, Secretary Suzanne Jaworowski and Commissioner Bob Deig participated in a fireside chat on Indiana’s energy future.

Their conversation highlighted how reliable, affordable energy supports Indiana farmers, strengthens rural communities, and helps power our state’s economy.

Governor Braun’s administration recently launched the Indiana Advanced Nuclear Ready Community program to help counties and regions prepare for small modular reactors and other advanced nuclear development. Our VP Natalie Goodwin shares more:

"Through a three-tier designation framework and digital toolkit, participating communities can evaluate potential sites, infrastructure, workforce capacity, local support and regulatory readiness before developers begin considering investments.

The program is designed to reduce project risk, strengthen partnerships with educational institutions and better coordinate state, utility and local siting requirements. Any Indiana county or region may apply, with technical assistance available through the Office of Energy Development.

The Indiana Chamber supports an all-of-the-above energy strategy that expands reliable, affordable and cost-competitive generation while positioning the state for future investment. Clear siting standards, early community engagement and workforce preparation will be critical to ensuring advanced nuclear projects can move efficiently and deliver lasting economic benefits for Hoosiers."
