We asked, and you answered!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the 2027 City Budget Survey. Your feedback will help us better understand which services you value most and where you would like to see improvements as the city prepares its upcoming budget.

Mayor Stephanie Terry will present the proposed budget to City Council on September 15, 2026 at 3:00 pm. The community will have an opportunity to provide feedback during public budget hearings prior to the final City Council vote on October 5, 2026.

This November, the University of Evansville and the University of Southern Indiana will face off at the Ford Center in the inaugural River City Classic. We can't wait to see downtown Evansville come alive as these two programs write a new chapter in local sports history.

🏀 HISTORY WILL BE MADE IN DOWNTOWN EVANSVILLE. 🏀

For the first time ever, the University of Evansville and University of Southern Indiana will meet in a regular-season Division I men's basketball game.

Introducing the inaugural River City Classic, presented by Old National Bank.

📅 Saturday, November 7
📍 Ford Center
⏰ 7:00 PM Tipoff

This neutral-site showdown will bring two Evansville institutions together on one stage in the heart of downtown, creating one of the most anticipated sporting events in our community's history.

Whether you wear purple or red, this is more than a basketball game, it's a celebration of our city's rich basketball tradition, hometown pride, and the passion of two incredible fan bases.

🎟️ Public ticket sales begin July 15 through the Ford Center Box Office.

USI fans are encouraged to sit on the south end of the arena, while UE fans are encouraged to sit on the north end as we create an electric atmosphere for this historic matchup.
