We are incredibly proud to announce that Thompkins Middle School’s own Melody-Jo Poettker has been named to the 2026 NASP® Academic All-American Team!

This prestigious honor is awarded to students who demonstrate elite skill on the archery range while maintaining top-tier academic standards. Melody-Jo is the ONLY middle schooler in the state of Indiana to receive this national recognition. 🥇

National Ranking: Placed 12th out of 2,576 middle school girls with a personal best score of 290/300.

State Title: 2026 Indiana Female State 3D Champion.
