Tri-State Food Bank is located in Evansville, Indiana and supplies emergency foods to charitable organizations in 33 counties of Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois. We serve 9 counties in southwest Indiana, 8 counties in northwest Kentucky and 16 counties in southern Illinois. We sponsor special programs for children and the elderly and we serve our network of charitable agencies. We safely collect, store and distribute essential foods and other provisions to individuals and children in need of assistance.

Thank you to Matthew 25 AIDS Services for being a Tri-State Food Bank partner! Matthew 25 is a Henderson, KY organizations dedicated to serving individuals at risk for, living with, or affected by HIV and other sexually transmitted infections. They provide food assistance to their patients through supplemental food distribution and Zack's Kitchen, which serves more than 150 households annually. 🚚 TWO ADDITIONAL Mobile Food Distributions in October! 🚚

Tri-State Food Bank is adding two more distributions! The TSFB truck will be distributing boxes of shelf-stable groceries with vegetables and fruit for our neighbors at these locations. No ID is required, but you will be asked for your zip code and how many people are in your household. Distributions are scheduled for two hours, or while supplies last. You do not need to live in these cities or counties to participate in the distributions.

PLEASE NOTE: The Evansville, IN distribution at Memorial Baptist is a walk-up event.

Tri-State Food Bank partners with over 180 agencies and programs in our 33-county service area, and almost all of those programs rely on volunteers. From soup kitchens to pantries, neighbors are helping neighbors all over the tri-state in ways that go beyond our Volunteer Center. Did you know that 38% of food that is produced goes unsold or uneaten? Over 90 billion pounds of food goes to waste every year—perfectly good, safe-to-eat food that gets thrown away because of things like: overproduction, upcoming sell-by dates, oddly shaped fruits and veggies, mislabelled packages, or food damaged in transport.

As a partner of Feeding America, Tri-State Food Bank is able to participate in grocery rescue programs and turn food waste into resources for our neighbors.

This week, fries are fighting hunger! This week McDonald's locations in these counties are donating 10% of a-la-carte fry sales to Tri-State Food Bank. Thank you to Aurora Evansville for being a Tri-State Food Bank partner! Aurora is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the homeless and near homeless in the Greater Evansville, Indiana area. Each year, they serve over 500 individuals: men, women, children, those with disabilities, and the re-entry population. Thank you for fighting hunger with Tri-State Food Bank!
