McGary’s math team recently designed a 9-day final math project where students created their own board games. Students were asked to build, design, write math questions, assemble the game, play other groups’ games, and evaluate them using different rubric categories. This required students to demonstrate a variety of DOK levels, including creating, applying, critiquing, and evaluating. Our goal was to prepare them for the rigor of a high school final.

The winning team from each grade level was awarded a basket. 1 team per grade level to win a basket.
